Tomato, Grape, and Lettuce Stem Juice

Ingredients

  • 150g cherry tomatoes

  • 100g grapes

  • 50g lettuce stem (celtuce)

  • 30 ml honey

  • 150 ml cold boiled water

Instructions

  1. Wash the skins of the cherry tomatoes and grapes thoroughly. Soak them in lightly salted water for about 10 minutes, then drain. Wash and drain the lettuce stem and set it aside.

  2. Combine the ingredients from step 1 with the remaining ingredients (honey and cold boiled water) in a blender and blend until smooth.

Tomatoes contain vitamin C and lycopene, which not only beautify the skin and aid digestion but can also help prevent prostate cancer. The addition of lettuce stem can help accelerate metabolism and strengthen bodily functions. It is best to choose a variety of grape where the skin is also edible (like California grapes), as the rich iron content in the grapes requires the vitamin C from the tomatoes for complete absorption by the body.
