Ganshu Acupoint 

Location Method

The Ganshu point is located below the spinous process of the 9th thoracic vertebra (T9), 1.5 cun lateral to the midline of the back.

To find it:

• The 9th thoracic vertebra (T9) is a vertebra in your upper to mid-back.

• “1.5 cun” is a traditional measurement in Chinese medicine. It is approximately the width of your index and middle fingers held together.

• The point is found on the back muscles, two finger-widths away from the depression just below the bony prominence of the T9 vertebra.
