Bamboo Pith Chicken Soup

3 stalks of bamboo pith

1 whole chicken, cleaned

2 slices of ginger

10 bowls of water
Instructions

Wash the bamboo pith and soak it in clean water for 1 hour. Remove from the water and cut it into segments.

Wash the cleaned chicken, chop it into large pieces, blanch it in boiling water, and then remove it.

Pour the 10 bowls of water into a pot and bring to a boil. Add the chicken pieces, bamboo pith, and ginger slices.

Bring the pot to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for one and a half hours.
