Nourishing Health Rice 

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups rice

  • 2 cloves

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 3 green cardamom pods

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • 1.5 cups water

Instructions

  1. Wash the rice and drain it well. In a dry pan, toast all the spices over low heat until they become fragrant.

  2. Add the rice to a pot, along with one teaspoon of coconut oil.

  3. Add the same amount of water as rice.

  4. Add all the toasted spices to the pot. Let the rice soak for 30 minutes, and then cook the rice (using a rice cooker or stovetop method).
