Administration Method
Classical: Decoct the seven ingredients above in one dou of water until six sheng remain. Remove the dregs and decoct the liquid again until three sheng remain. Take one sheng of the warm decoction, three times a day.
(Modern: Decoct in water for oral administration.)
Functions
Primarily for treating disharmony of Stomach Qi, manifesting as focal distention and a sensation of fullness in the epigastrium without pain, dry heaving or vomiting, borborygmus with diarrhea, and a thin, yellow, and greasy tongue coating.
