Method of Administration:
To be taken orally. The recommended dosage is 3 to 4 capsules at a time, 3 times a day.
Functions:
This medication is indicated for chest impediment (a condition characterized by chest pain and stuffiness in Traditional Chinese Medicine) arising from a pattern of Heart and Kidney Yin deficiency with Heart blood stasis.
It is used for patients presenting with the following symptoms:

Chest tightness and discomfort.

Stabbing or colicky pain in the chest.

Chest pain that may radiate to the back, is fixed in location, and worsens at night.

Palpitations and night sweats.

Vexation, irritability, and insomnia.

Soreness in the lower back and weakness in the knees.

Tinnitus and dizziness.
It is specifically used for stable effort-induced angina in coronary heart disease and for hyperlipidemia in patients who exhibit the pattern of symptoms described above.
